How we select products
This site is financed by these commissions. We select products by the criteria described under how we research.
- The selection covers only products sold on Amazon. It is not an overview of the whole market.
- Picks rest on documents. They are based on manuals, manufacturer specifications and tire-industry documents rather than product testing, and each figure names its source.
- No manufacturer pays us for placement. There are no paid awards and no sponsored recommendations.
- We name weaknesses, including those of our picks, and several pages recommend buying nothing or going to a tire shop.
